Accidents - We can avoid dangers by alert, agile anticipation, and placing banners and boards that bear information about common hazards, and accident-prone areas. This can also be depicted in pictures for easy understanding.

Banners and Boards- Bearing information about Common hazards, accident-prone areas.

Chemicals- Comprehension about chemical handling, storage, spill, MSDS.

Damage Control- Directives for early identification and control in the event of any damage.

Eye- Each and everyone must have their eyes open to ensure safe environment

Fire-Fire prone areas, Awareness about the type of extinguisher to be used, Preparedness, Fire exits.

Generator- Gaps around alternate power supply areas, Storing fuels, flammables, access in darkness without lighting.

Hygiene- Having personal, washroom, and common hygiene practices.

Infection- In closed rooms and shared resource areas. The infection spread via inhalation, Ingestion, Injection, and Insemination, Incidents to be avoided.

Jack, Jane, Others- Gender-related workplace safety measures.

Knowledge- Knowing how to handle any adverse event.

Load- Lifting heavy objects - a criteria regarding access, shifting, carrying etc must be in place.

Maintenance- Machine and Electrical must be foremost.

Noise- Noting noise allowances, especially where heavy machines are functioning.

Officers- Orders for implementing safety standards.

Prevention- Predicting possible hazards and preventing their occurrence.

Records- Registers recording accidents, incidents, schedules, Rules, and Regulations.

Safe- Safety everywhere, everytime, everyway, everyone.

Training- Teaching how to handle devices, equipment, situations.

Umbrella- Under a safety umbrella, to bring prerequisites.

Vehicles- Very strictly monitor transport inside factories

Waste- Waste segregation, Collection, Handling, Transport, Disposal.

X-Factors- Any new factors contributing to safety or lack of it.

Yardsticks- Maintain apt ranges, permissible limits regarding Manpower (age, education level, qualification, height, weight of workers), Machines, Space.

Zone- Zoning for assembly point, entry restricted to authorized personnel, Danger zones.

We must all be cautious as the hazards in any organization can affect not only the people present but also be dangerous to the society at large. We must learn from past mistakes like Mercury Poisoning, Bhopal Gas Tragedy etc.

By being Watchful, Wary watch, and never weary, WorkPlace Safety can be true.
